Bellathatch is a hobby show kennel located just south of Atlanta on a farm with plenty of room for the dogs to run.  Labs have always been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until 1996 that I took some Obedience classes.  That step ignited my passion for competition.  I love to travel the dog show circuit and will attend All Breed shows and Labrador Specialties up and down the East coast in pursuit of championship points.

My first show dog, Isabella, was not meant to be a champion.  She was not happy in the show ring, but made a wonderful companion.  My next dog, Thatcher, loves to be the center of attention and finished her championship in short order.  Needless to say, Thatcher is the foundation for my kennel. The combined names of these dogs, Isabella and Thatcher, inspired my kennel name, Bellathatch Labradors.

I've served on the board of the Greater Atlanta Labrador Retriever Club (GALRC) for many years.  Also, I'm an active member of the Newnan Kennel Club as well as The Labrador Retriever Club.
